Weather, as well as the gardening career. Growing plants as a Gardener can take a lot of work, so getting some help along the way would be nice. One of the new objects that you can get in the game is an item called Patchy the Scarecrow!
What’s special about this item is that you can customize how Patchy looks, and it can help you with your garden once you bring it to life! In this page, we’ll be looking more into the features that Patchy can bring into the game, so let’s see what’s in store.
Once you place him in a location, you’ll now try to wake him up. Let your Sim talk to patchy a lot of times until he becomes your friend. You’ll get a new feature that will appear once this is successful. Patchy will have a “Ask for Gardening Tips” interaction, and you’ll get a scarecrow outfit as one of your CaS options.
If Patchy is awake, it’s a good time for your Sim to befriend them. With continued conversations, you can eventually even have a relationship with Patchy. Other than that, asking for gardening tips is one of Patchy’s main functions, and you’ll be able to gain some experience for gardening.
Another benefit of patchy is to check his pockets since he can get seeds. You can then add this to your inventory and plant them for your own garden. Once you have used up the functions of Patchy, he’ll eventually go back to his post. He can only be alive for a couple of hours until he wakes up the next time.
Aside from his interactions and his gardening capabilities, you cannot do much with him else since he’s not a fully alive sim like a regular human. The bonuses he can provide is good for your garden though, so it’s a good addition to have him around.
