Some events have specific Requirements based on the type of event such as birthday cakes for a birthday party, or food and table space for a dinner party. Here are some times that you can follow when you create events.
Ensure that you have enough space for your guests. This includes places where you can sit at the table in order for everyone to mingle, as well as have food.
Have the necessary appliances on hand. If you hire a caterer and mixologist, you’ll need a place where they can cook as well as make drinks such as the stove, refrigerator, and counter.
Space your items well. You’ll want your sims to be able to get their food and drinks nearby. If you have a big lot, try not placing your kitchen and counter for drinks too far from where the guests are.
Manage the number of guests in relation to how much hosts you have. Having too much guests with little hosts can make it difficult for them to achieve their goals.
Provide music where the Sims are. Having a radio, speaker set, piano, or juke box can help entertain them so they won’t get bored.
Prepare some food and drinks in advanced. Even if you hire a caterer and mixologist, your sims can do those as well just before the event starts. Prepare a Birthday Cake or Wedding cake since these are some of the Requirements for those types of events.
